Starting out on my own.

When I first started out with photography, I wanted to have fun. I loved the faces and expressions mainly of all the subjects I took photos of. Their expressions of joy, excitement, concentration were a fun thing to take photos of. Something you'd miss if you didn't pay attention to. I worked hard and got a decent set of work in Houston and the Dallas area taking senior portraits and small events. It seemed fun, and tiring at the same time, but recently I haven't been having fun, photography had seem like I had to fit a mold of serious meetings, advertising to a crowd and it made the work monotonous.

So I'm going to do something different.

With Flying Snail, I decided that I was going to take this to my pace. I would make leaps into things I didn't know, and take my clients at my own pace. So that I can take those fun portraits and have fun with each shoot. It will no longer be a session, we're going to have a fun photoshoot. You get to be the model, and have a whole event where you are the star. This will be an event to be excited about and look forward to, instead of something you have to do, or is expected of you.
